📣 Important Leadership Update
Dear Glendora Show Choir Families and Community,
As we head into the 2025–2026 season, we want to share an important leadership update. Mr. Matthew Davis, who has led Glendora Show Choirs with incredible heart, creativity, and excellence, has accepted a new position at Los Alamitos High School. We are so grateful for the impact he’s made—helping our program rise to become one of the top-ranked show choirs on the West Coast. His presence will be deeply missed, and we wish him nothing but success in his next chapter.
In the meantime, our program is strong and moving forward. Show Choir has always been a team effort, and that spirit continues. Susia Ruddell, our returning Artistic Director & Choreographer, will lead Choir Camp next week. She’ll be supported by our amazing Tech Director, Katrina Villareal, and the dedicated members of the GHS Choral Boosters Board, who have long played a vital role in building this program. Together, this leadership team is fully committed to continuing the momentum as we begin the search for a new director.

Our GHS Show Choirs Mission
To provide a place for students to develop skills for lifelong learning, thinking, and music-making at the highest level.
The Glendora Show Choirs inspire students to pursue excellence by engaging both mind and body in the development of musical literacy and performance techniques. Choir membership demands dedication and rigor, but the rewards are profound. Students experience the joy of rehearsing and performing while honing critical skills like creativity, collaboration, and adaptability. Most importantly, they become part of a close-knit, supportive community that nurtures their growth as both individuals and performers — leaving them with lifelong skills, cherished memories, and a sense of belonging that lasts long after their time in the choir.

Our Show Choir Boosters, led by Fred and Rose Ortega and a dedicated volunteer board, provide essential support for the Glendora Show Choirs.
